#tbt This picture of Christ Church, taken when it was first moved to its new home at #UpperCanadaVillage in the 1950s, shows how it would have looked during the end of the 19th and start of the 20th centuries, when the Church of England had changed the way it thought churches should look. Once on site, Christ Church was restored more to the way it would have looked when it was first built in the 1830s. Can you recognize the differences?
Did you know? Bellamy’s Steam Flour Mill at #UpperCanadaVillage goes through 60 metric tons of hard red spring wheat a season! These bags of bran, a by-product in the production of our #flour, are stacked taller than our young mill hand!
