ST. LAWRENCE PARKS COMMISSION WELCOMES NEW GENERAL MANAGER & CEO

Darren Dalgleish To Lead Economic Renewal And Development At SLPC

Darren Dalgleish has been selected as the new General Manager and CEO of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission.  His appointment follows an open recruitment process and takes effect April 4, 2011.

Dalgleish has extensive experience in business renewal and development.  His experience includes leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including Chief Administrative Officer of the Town of Gananoque, President of Ifastgroupe Corporation, a company that designs, manufactures, imports and distributes engineered products for many industries, and General Manager of Canadian Operations with Textron Canada, a global supplier of specialized fasteners and fastening solutions.

As General Manager and CEO of the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, Dalgleish will provide leadership and oversee the economic development and renewal of the Commission's attractions and facilities.  Dalgleish takes over from Tim Casey who has made a significant contribution to the Commission as Acting General Manager and CEO.
