Restoring Brown's Bay Beach

St. Lawrence Parks Commission is pleased to announce that it is launching a multi-year project to restore its Brown's Bay Beach site along the Thousand Islands Parkway in Mallorytown, Ontario. Work is currently underway preparing the site for key infrastructure upgrades such as new washrooms within a new canteen building, major reconstruction of a portion of the seawall that will also create an elevated beach, and a new and improved sewer system.

Guests now have the choice of Pumpkinfernos – either at the original home of Pumpkinferno, Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, Ontario or its new incarnation at Fort Henry in Kingston. Cameras, contestants and brightly coloured tents will occupy the outer west wall and the Advanced Battery at Fort Henry this weekend as Canadian teenagers go head to head, testing their pop culture trivia set against the historic backdrop of the Fort. Filming for new broadcast game show Pop Whiz, set to air on Game TV in February-March 2022, will take place at Fort Henry while regular Fort-goers look on.

Upper Canada Village to Open Doors for Regular Season on July 1

St. Lawrence Parks Commission is pleased to announce that Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, Ontario will open for its regular season on Thursday, July 1, 2021 with modifications which comply with public health measures, advice and restrictions. The regular season runs until September 5, 2021.
