St. Lawrence Parks looking to grow multi-lingual capacity.
Morrisburg, Ontario – The St. Lawrence Parks (SLP) is one of the largest tourism operators in Southeastern Ontario managing historic sites and recreational facilities stretching along the St. Lawrence River corridor from Kingston to near the Quebec border. It is also one of the region’s largest student employers, employing over 300 students each summer and it is now recruiting!
The diversity of the student positions ranges from tour guides at one of Ontario’s finest historic sites such as Fort Henry, Upper Canada Village or Kingston Penitentiary to guiding amongst the treetops at Skywood Eco Adventures or learning the finer details on how to cut greens at Upper Canada Golf Course.
St. Lawrence Parks attractions and recreational facilities host guests from around the world each year and is also looking for students with multi-lingual skills. Students who speak languages in addition to English, including French, Mandarin, Japanese, German, and Spanish are encouraged to apply.

The St. Lawrence Parks Commission, an agency of the Government of Ontario, operates facilities in 16 municipalities stretching from Kingston to the Quebec border, including Upper Canada Village, Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada (and a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Kingston Penitentiary Tours, Crysler Park Marina, Upper Canada Golf Course, Skywood Eco Adventure, Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary and 13 campgrounds and beach day-use picnic areas including the Long Sault and 1000 Islands Parkway.
