Fort Fright launches 10th season Thursday, September 28, 2017

KINGSTON, Ontario – Fort Henry turns dark this fall and brings your most terrifying nightmares to life as it celebrates the 10th anniversary of Fort Fright.    This year brave visitors should prepare to be greeted by more scares in an all new nightmare themed experience.

The storyline “Welcome to your worst nightmare” follows a misadventure in a rural town where there’s a chemical spill and subsequently, testing on humans to create mutating humans.  Lab areas, mad scientist, projections and live scare actors will make sure that visitors are living the nightmare!  You can try to reach for your sweet dreams …. But there’s only one way out of the nightmare – by making it to the end!

Total Scare
Guests looking for the maximum scare experience should upgrade to the exclusive Total Scare Package.  Just 10 Total Scare Packages are available for time slots between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. and include admission, Coffin Ride and “Tales from the Tunnels” Haunted Walk in the east reverse fire chambers and admission to the pop-up escape game from Improbable Escapes.

New Ticketing & Timed Entry
A new timed entry ticketing system has been implemented offering tour times every 15 minutes with limited capacity that will manage crowds and ensure everyone gets an equally frightful experience.  Save on admission with the New Thriller Thursdays offer lower pricing of just $18 per person.  Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.  Buy online at www.forthenry.com.

If you want to go but you aren’t sure you can manage all of the scares, a great option is to purchase a Safety Amulet Night Light.  Those who adorn themselves with the amulet turn the tables on the Fort Fright Scare Actors, keeping them at bay allowing for a less frightful experience.  Keeps you safe, but your friends are fair game!
