Every year, we look forward to opening our doors in May and showcasing the many wonders of our historic site. Given the growing concerns around COVID-19 and with guidance from Ontario's Chief Medical Officer, we've made the difficult decision to delay our opening day of May 16th for the 2020 season.
We will continue to monitor this fluid and evolving situation and will provide updates and communicate our new opening day on our social media channels and website.
We remain committed to our community and while we may not open our doors now, we look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so. Remember that even though we are apart, we are still together during this moment of stillness. We are all in this together.
Until we meet again, stay safe and healthy!
Parking Lot and Public Spaces
All visitor and vehicle access to our parking lot and public spaces at Fort Henry is now CLOSED temporarily, until further notice. This applies to all visitors including recreational walkers and dog walkers.
We want to thank you for your patience and support of Upper Canada Village and Fort Henry as we continue to monitor this evolving situation. As a valued customer, we will be providing the following benefits during these uncertain times:
- 2020 season passes will be valid for the remainder of 2020 when our site is able to open.
- We will honour the current 2020 season passes through the 2021 season.
Event & Programming Cancellations
Our priority is to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our visitors, vendors, entertainers and staff in these challenging times. Under the guidance and advice of Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health, it is with great sadness that we cancel the following for the 2020 season:
- YGK Craft BeerFest
- Cannonball Crush
- Annual Tattoo
