Hit the Lights: Alight at Night Returns for 25th Sparkling Season

Festive sights, nostalgic sounds, and the timeless charm of Alight at Night return to Upper Canada Village

The weeks ahead will be merry and bright as the cherished annual Alight at Night festival returns to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg, ON, beginning tonight, November 28, 2025.

A beloved tradition for many, Alight at Night transforms the historic village into an enchanting holiday setting, creating a fun, festive, and family-friendly experience for guests of all ages.

Bundle up for an evening stroll through Upper Canada Village, transformed into a winter wonderland with over a million lights adorning its heritage buildings, trees, and fences.

Explore the twinkling streets, enjoy old-fashioned carolling, and be dazzled by the festive sound and light show. Hop aboard the whimsical Toy Train, meet the Victorian Saint Nick, and capture memorable festive photos. For an extra special experience, the Pommier horse-drawn carriage ride offers a private 30-minute journey for up to four guests through the picture-perfect postcard setting.

Experience the wonder, nostalgia and joy that have made Alight at Night a must-see holiday destination for a quarter of a century. The outdoor light festival runs Thursday through Sunday until December 14 and will be open nightly from December 18, 2025, to January 15, 2026 (closed December 24 and 25).

Alight at Night at Upper Canada Village is proud to announce our participation in the Canada Strong Pass, giving more opportunities to experience Ontario’s most enchanting winter light festival. This means an extended season, and perks like free admission for children and youth (up to 17) and half-price tickets for young adults (18–24).

Create cherished memories with family, friends or someone special. Timed-entry tickets must be purchased in advance from www.AlightatNight.ca. Ticket availability appears in real-time, and many evenings sell out. To avoid disappointment, purchase tickets early.
