Celebrating All Things Horses At Upper Canada Village

Horse Lovers’ Weekend runs September 2-4, 2023 From Saturday, September 2 until Monday, September 4, Upper Canada Village celebrates the integral role horses have played in Canada’s history since the 1600s with its Horse Lovers Weekend. All weekend long there will be demonstrations of horse-powered jobs performed by working horses, including the opportunity for horse-drawn rides around the Village by wagon, carryall or by boat.
