Tickets on sale now for annual waterfront festival celebrating local and Ontario craft beer, music and the scenic views at Fort Henry National Historic Site in Kingston
Kingston, ON — Local beers and bands will again be celebrated at Fort Henry this year when YGK Craft Beer Fest returns on June 8, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Starting April 30, guests can book their tickets online for this summer waterfront festival which pairs the impressive heritage and history of Fort Henry with Kingston’s dynamic cultural life.
YGK Craft Beer Fest is a waterfront festival on the grounds of Fort Henry National Historic Site celebrating craft food and drink, music, and scenic views. Fort Henry comes alive with all-day live music, games, and photo ops as guests experience gourmet food truck vendors, artisan vendors and beverage vendors serving up beer, cider and other special offerings.
Returning this year, the 19+ ‘Hopped Up’ ticket offers a premium way to experience YGK Craft Beer Fest, including access to the fast lane admission entry and purchases, indoor, air-conditioned lounge, the YGK Patio with comfort shade, tables and chairs, indoor washrooms, exclusive access to VIP tent on the ground, and two beverage tickets upon entry. Also included is a voucher to return to Fort Henry for regular summer programming.
As an organization that has put health and safety at the forefront of everything it does, St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) is committed to ensuring the safe service of alcohol at Fort Henry. Attendees must have their ID ready upon entry. Coloured wristbands will be used to identify those of legal drinking age. Tickets can be purchased with or without drink tokens.

Fort Henry
Fort Henry was built between 1832 and 1837, designed as the key site in a network of fortifications for the defense of the Rideau Canal and the Kingston harbour. Garrisoned by British soldiers until 1870, and abandoned by Canadian troops in 1891, Fort Henry fell into disrepair. In 1936, the Fort underwent restoration and opened as a living history museum in 1938. Now a National Historic Site, Fort Henry has seen millions of visitors pass through its gates, entering the realm of 19th century military life. Guests experience self-guided tours, scenic views, heart-pounding musical performances and precision military demonstrations by the Fort Henry Guard, a highly disciplined group of student recruits trained as British soldiers from 1867.
